-WELCOME TO PATSBOOK-

I’ve been sick of the social media crap for awhile now, and figured “fuck it” lets just make my own page that’s way more me. Kinda like old school myspace where you weren’t stuck with just one style for everything, when we had the freedom to create our own shit and put it out there for the world to see.

So here I sit at an actual PC with a real keyboard and I’m just gonna see what random crap I can fill this page with.

  • I was born to an English Mum, and a Minnesotan Dad in upstate New York in 1987, and was there for just a couple years before moving to England, then to South Dakota, Oklahoma, North Dakota, back to England and finally Minnesota at the age of 20.

You see, I was what’s called a “Military Brat” and that meant moving around a lot, which looking back on now was probably the best thing for me. You never knew how different places were until you’d move to a new one and couldn’t understand what they’re saying….like Oklahoma. I thought “y’all” was some kid’s name…and it was always fun to see what new trouble there was to get into.

With all the moving though, there’s not really a good chance to build lasting friendships, so I guess it was Art and Creativeness that became my focus. I consider myself a Jack of All Trades kind of person and love the challenge of creating something from an idea, to bring it into the real world. It’s probably that drive that lead me to tattooing…

…thought I’d have more of these off the bat…more to come sometime.

  • My ever growing book collection expanded into my room at the shop some time ago, and it seems to have no plans on stopping it’s take over as so many people recommend awesome books for me to read.

I’m horribly narrow scoped when it comes to my genres (the less like reality the better, and I believe a map in the front pages denotes a good book usually…although I have been let down on that theory.) but have been recently trying to open my interests a little bit.

    -Kingkiller Chronicles, Patrick Rothfuss
    - Name of the Wind
    - A Wise Mans Fear
Awesome Trilogy that is only 2/3 done but worth reading more than once, IMO.

-Demon Cycle Saga, Peter V. Brett
    - The Warded Man
    - The Desert Spear
    - The Daylight War
    - The Skull Throne
    - The Core
Like Game of Thrones meets a Tattoo Drama show.

    - First Law Trilogy, Joe Abercrombie
    - The Blade Itself
    - Before They Are Hanged
    - Last Argument of Kings
Gritty and gory series with good twists.
